Frozen in Time

I remember
I use to write, in poem
Trying to reach out vaguely
my words hide in the hollow of my chest,
too trembling to step into the light

I dont remember
Why like stormclouds gathering over fragile light
I fear the thunder before it came
my lips grow cold and sealed,
as though the frost of fear itself
had bound my voice in silence.

I cannot tell if anger’s face I’ve seen,
or if the shadows only wore its mask;
memory falters, blurred like smoke in wind,
and I am left unsure what truth did burn.

Frozen in time
Im shaped by the day my youth hunger for love, yet starve in its absence
